Take UGA's active learning snapshot survey
Please consider participating in an anonymous “snapshot” survey of teaching at UGA. The Center for Teaching and Learning had an overall participation rate of 15 percent of faculty last year, and they would like to increase that to get a fully representative sample of UGA faculty teaching practices: traditional lectures, hybrid and online courses, labs, or case-based flipped classrooms. Whatever the model, they want to hear about it!
The center is offering personalized reports to any department, college, or unit that achieves 40 percent participation rate of their faculty or at least 15 faculty members, whichever is higher. The Center for Teaching and Learning has chosen these target goals so it can ensure confidentiality of answers when the data are disaggregated in a local report. Last year, the College of Education’s participation rate was 13 percent. We have so many engaged and active learning-oriented faculty, so let’s show the University what the College of Education can do!
