Announcing internal competition for William T. Grant Foundation Scholars Program

Attention early-career faculty:

The William T. Grant Foundation Scholars Program competition has been announced. The Scholars Program supports career development for promising early-career researchers. The program funds five-year research and mentoring plans that significantly expand researchers’ expertise in new disciplines, methods, and content areas focused on:

  • Reducing inequality
  • Improving the use of research evidence

The College of Education can nominate one early-career researcher to go forward to complete a proposal for submission. Eligible applicants must have received their terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., M.D.) within seven years of submitting the application. For doctoral degrees, this is the date the degree was conferred.

Thus, the College is announcing the internal competition to select the nominee for the 2019 funding cycle. Interested researchers should review the program website, which contains the Scholars Program application guide, FAQs, selection criteria, resources for applicants, and other important details to guide the decision to apply. Additionally, read the attached document for complete details on submitting an internal application.
