Call for proposals: UGA-Liverpool Pump-Priming Grant
The University of Georgia and the University of Liverpool are pleased to offer a limited number of pump-priming grants to catalyze research collaborations between the two institutions and to encourage joint applications for ongoing sponsored funding.
To be eligible for this competition, UGA and Liverpool faculty members must work together on a single short proposal within the scope of this call, which is to be submitted simultaneously to UGA and Liverpool for evaluation.
The priority disciplines for this call are:
- Biological sciences
- Advanced materials
- Humanities and social sciences related to issues of heritage and politics
Responses to the call should address one or more of the following societal challenges:
- Health and well-being
- Food security
- Environmental sustainability
- Human rights
- Inclusion
- Social justice
