Georgia Power construction on East Campus Road begins May 27

Georgia Power plans to work on the line serving the UGA substation along the railroad tracks on East Campus Road, from Green Street to Hooper Street, between May 27 and June 7. Single-lane closures will take place in the northbound lane of East Campus Road in 500-foot increments. In addition:

• Flagmen will direct traffic
• No power outages are anticipated
• The schedule is subject to change
