Media mention: Athletic training study abroad program featured in Banner-Herald

The athletic training study abroad program in Taiwan led by Bud Cooper, clinical professor and clinical education coordinator in the Department of Kinesiology, was featured as part of a recent story in the Athens Banner-Herald.

The story included how students work study abroad experiences into their schedules, the service-learning involved, and the ways in which these trips deepen students’ overall learning. Cooper’s athletic training program, which gives students opportunities to practice techniques with a variety of athletes and sports, is one of many ways UGA students can find an education outside of the United States.
