Reclaiming our time: New mental health service for African American female graduate students

This group is designed to provide space for African American female graduate students to come together and process the unique aspects of their graduate school experience. The group will explore themes of interest to African American women and will provide evidence-based coping skills to enhance their emotional well-being and academic performance.

The group will meet on either Monday afternoons from 3:30-5 p.m. or Thursday mornings from 10:30 a.m.–noon. Interested students can contact Counseling and Psychiatric Services at 706-542-2273 and schedule a group screening with Monica Williams for the Reclaiming Our Time Group.
