Nominate faculty members for UGA Awards by Oct. 15
Nominations for UGA Awards should be submitted to the Office of Faculty and Staff Services by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Dossiers should be submitted as a single PDF file via an email attachment to Takenya Moore. The Awards Committee will not review late or incomplete dossiers.
The nomination and selection process for the University-wide awards listed below varies. Please review the following links carefully for detailed information related to eligibility, application process, and submission requirements. Richard B. Russell Undergraduate Teaching Award
- Eligibility: Tenure-track faculty engaged in undergraduate instruction who have been at the University a minimum of three years at the time of the actual award and who have been in a tenure-track position for a total of no more than 10 years.
Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professorships
- Eligibility: Individuals who have held tenure-track faculty positions for at least five years.
University Professorship
- Eligibility: Nominations for these awards come from the dean. If you have a nominee to suggest, please contact Dean Denise Spangler.
