Two new database trials in GALILEO

The Map & Government Information Library added two new databases as trial subscriptions to GALILEO. They are:

• Computing and Artificial Intelligence: Global Origins of the Digital Age
• Climate Science and Sustainability: Global Origins of Modern Environmentalism

Information from these resources come from the Joint Publications Research Service (JPRS), a U.S. government organization that was part of the CIA and monitored publications from around the world, translating them into English. The materials cover the time period between 1957 and 1995. (We have some JPRS materials on microfiche).

The trials are active through the end of November; please feel free to share with faculty, students, etc.
