Timely: Fall 2019 Commencement Processional Details, Regalia Rental
Thank you for your continued support of UGA’s Commencement ceremonies! This year, Fall Commencement will be held on Friday, December 13. We have again made special arrangements to help facilitate faculty participation in the Fall ceremonies including complimentary regalia rental and parking at the Carlton Street deck next to Stegeman Coliseum.
All faculty are welcome to attend the undergraduate and graduate ceremonies, but only those registered will march in the processional.
Please use the following registration link to submit information for faculty planning to attend commencement no later than Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. to avoid late fees.
- Regalia Rental: If you have not sent them in already, this is a reminder that faculty regalia rental forms (available on the Commencement website) are due to the UGA Bookstore by this coming Wednesday, Nov. 6. Regalia rentals requested after that date are not guaranteed and may incur a personal rush fee of $20 or more.
- Parking: Parking is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Use the registration link below to request a parking pass for the Carlton Street Deck. The deadline to register for parking is Nov. 29.
- Clear bag policy: The clear bag policy for UGA athletic events is in effect for Commencement. Please follow the guidelines in the Permitted/Prohibited Items section of the website.
