Call for nominations: UGA Creative Teaching Awards

Nominations are now being accepted for UGA’s Creative Teaching Awards. The Creative Teaching Awards are presented annually by the Office of Instruction to recognize UGA faculty for excellence in developing and implementing creative teaching strategies to improve student learning. The award is open to all full-time faculty, including tenured, tenure-track, or non-tenured faculty.

Nominations are due at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020 and may be submitted by any faculty member, dean, or department head. Nominations should include name, department and rank of the nominee, along with a brief statement (approximately 300 words) explaining why the nominee should be considered for the award,
