Graduate workshops available this spring

The UGA Libraries is hosting a series of graduate research workshops this spring. From building scholarly identity, learning specialized tools like GIS and LaTek, to database searching and managing your research, the topics and tools are designed to help graduate students succeed at UGA and beyond.

Topics include:

  • Building your scholarly identity and tracking your scholarly accomplishments
  • Using Pivot to find funding
  • LaTex: Introduction, the UGA template, and advanced sessions
  • QGIS: Point data and polygon data
  • Citation management: RefWorks and EndNote
  • More than JSTOR: America: History and life and historical abstracts
  • Social explorer and PolicyMap
  • Make the most of your spring break: Writing and research
