Digital newspapers: Historic Mexican and Mexican American Press now available

The University of Arizona Libraries are hosting a collection of digital newspapers from the UA Libraries’ Historic Mexican and Mexican American Press, as well as some newly-digitized Arizona newspapers, which can be found on the National Digital Newspaper Project from the Library of Congress website.

This collection documents and showcases historic Mexican and Mexican American publications published in Tucson, El Paso, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Sonora, Mexico from the mid-1800s to the 1970s.
