Support resources for students impacted by the coronavirus
Please be aware of these helpful resources for UGA students, faculty, and staff who might have family members impacted by the coronavirus:
- The Department of International Student Life can serve as a resource hub and connect impacted UGA members with resources on campus.
- Phone: 706-542-5867
- UGA’s Student Care and Outreach in the Office of the Dean of Students works with students who might be experiencing distress and/or difficult circumstances. They have a team of staff to assist students in connecting with and navigating resources and support services on campus and in Athens. Individuals can also complete an online form anytime requesting assistance.
- Monday-Friday between 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; phone: 706-542-7774
- The advising staff at UGA’s Immigration Services Office is available to answer questions regarding immigration status, visa applications, and regulatory updates. If you or students have recently returned from international travel or have been around people who have recently returned from international travel, please take advantage of the office’s online “virtual” advising services.
- Phone: 706-202-2546
- The University Health Center is a world-class health facility that is available to students at UGA. Please visit this online resource on how to stay healthy (especially during the flu season).
