The Mary Frances Early College of Education is co-sponsoring a table with UGA’s Office of Institutional Diversity at the event, It’s Time to Talk: Forums on Race.

The keynote speaker is Julian Vasquez Heilig, dean of the University of Kentucky College of Education, an award-winning leader, a teacher, and a researcher in educational leadership and policy. Val Bell, executive director of Athens Regional Library, and Bertis Downs will represent Public Education Matters as co-chairs this year.
