Kudos: Singh receives Fellows Award from the Association of Specialists in Group Work

Anneliese Singh, associate dean for diversity, equity, and inclusion and professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services, received the Association of Specialists in Group Work (ASGW) Fellows Award earlier this month for her scholarship, teaching, and advocacy in the field of group work.

“Because I have used group work as a foundational tool in social change, receiving the ASGW Fellowship is a tremendous honor,” she said. “Whether I am facilitating courageous conversations trainings or leading educational workshops on racial healing and LGBTQ+ issues, I always use group work principles to guide my interventions.”
