Free resources for K-12 educators now available on GCA website
As the end of the 2019-2020 school year draws near, the Georgia Center for Assessment (GCA) is providing free access to our online teaching and learning platform, District and School Connect Lite, free downloadable digital writing assessment resources, and related online professional learning webinars.
District and School Connect Lite allows teachers of all grade levels and content areas to create instructional and assessment activities to support teaching and learning in an online environment. Additionally, extended-response writing assessments are now available at no cost. These can be used as learning activities or to collect end-of-year data on your students’ writing achievement.
GCA’s Kevin Raczynski and his colleagues in GCA’s scoring team will host a series of free, live professional learning webinars with concise tips for scoring extended responses accurately.
If you know anyone who might benefit from these resources, please direct them to the GCA website. If you have any questions about GCA’s mission or services, please email Kay Elder, interim associate director of GCA.
