DFACS GARYSE/Chafee Program announces two funding opportunities
The Georgia Division of Family and Children Services’ (DFACS) GARYSE/Chafee Program announces the release of two funding opportunities for federal fiscal year 2021:
- Life Skills Education and Training (up to $250,000)
- Financial Literacy and Individual Development Account (up to $150,000)
These funding opportunities have been issued by the Georgia DFACS’ GARYSE/Chafee Program to seek proposals from non-profit organizations and public agencies that provide quality programs and services to youth in Georgia’s foster care system.
Below are some key dates:
- Statement of need release date: Monday, April 13

- Mandatory information session registration: Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24 (please register for one of the sessions)
- Application and proposal submission deadline: Monday, May 11 at 3 p.m.
