IES announces FY21 Education Research and Special Education Research Grant programs

Application deadline: Thursday, Aug. 20

The Department of Education issued a notice inviting new awards applications (FY21) for eight Education Research and Special Education Research Grant programs.

Information regarding program and application requirements for the competitions can be found in the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) application submission guide and in the NCER and NCSER RFAs, which will be available on or before Saturday, May 30 on the IES website. The dates for when the application packages for these competitions will be available are indicated in the chart at the end of the notice referenced above.

The Office of Research and Graduate Education will update these funding calls as IES releases information. Please stay tuned.
