Networking and interviewing in the time of COVID-19 and systemic anti-Blackness
- Date: Tuesday, June 23
- Time: 1-2 p.m.
- Zoom link: Available upon registration
In this virtual conversation, we explore the challenges and opportunities of networking and interviewing in the time of COVID-19 and systemic anti-Blackness. Graduate students of color are invited to join a discussion with people of color who have recently been in the job market and have networked in creative and strategic ways.
Mary Frances Early College of Education alumni Stephanie Toliver, an assistant professor of literacy studies and secondary humanities at the University of Colorado, and Brean’a Parker, an assistant professor of educational leadership, policy, and human development at North Carolina State University, will join us to share insights and tips from their recent journeys in the job market. Join us for a vibrant discussion where participants can also talk about their fears and successes.
Please register in advance for this meeting. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information about joining the meeting.
