Kudos: Everett and Kadjer elected to serve in positions for NCTE

Two faculty members in the Department of Language and Literacy Education have been elected to serve in positions for the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE).

Assistant professor Sakeena Everett will serve on both the NCTE Nominating Committee and the Standing Committee on Research. Clinical associate professor Sara Kadjer will serve as chair of NCTE’s Middle Section Nominating Committee.

These elections are a testament to both of these outstanding faculty members’ dedication to the improvement of teacher education.
