You are invited to attend a conversation hosted by the Institute for Women’s Studies (IWS) director Juanita Johnson-Bailey, who will be joined by Patricia Richards, professor of sociology and women’s studies and graduate coordinator for women’s studies; Cecilia Herles, assistant director and undergraduate advisor for women’s studies; and Terri Hatfield, program and public relations coordinator for women’s studies.
During this open house, we will discuss the program, what it means to be an affiliate faculty member for IWS, what courses we offer students, how classes you teach can be approved for the women’s studies major and minor, our graduate certificate for master’s and doctoral students across campus, and what opportunities are available through IWS to present feminist research or get involved on IWS committees and other events.
This event will be hosted on Zoom and is free to attend. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.
