Building-specific HVAC information

UGA’s Facilities Management Division (FMD) is working with every college and unit to provide building-specific information. We have completed this task for several buildings associated with the College of Education. The FMD website includes building-specific infographics, FAQ, information about preventive maintenance, and other information regarding campus HVAC systems.

Additionally, FMD has made a few modifications to the operating schedules for HVAC systems. These modifications will remain in place for the foreseeable future:

• All HVAC systems for these buildings have been set to run 24×7 without our typical evening or unoccupied energy-saving protocols, aligned with our strategy to increase outdoor air intake and provide overnight flushing cycles, whenever possible.
• At Ramsey, several air handlers have been adjusted to provide increased outdoor air.
