Spencer Foundation Education Small Grants applications due Nov. 3

The Spencer Foundation Small Research Grants Program supports education research projects that contribute to the improvement of education, broadly conceived, with budgets up to $50,000 for projects ranging from one to five years. The Foundation accepts applications three times per year.

This program is “field-initiated,” in that proposal submissions are not in response to a specific request for a particular research topic, discipline, design, method, or location. The goal of this program is to support rigorous, intellectually ambitious, and technically sound research that is relevant to the most pressing questions and compelling opportunities in education.

Interested researchers are encouraged to review the full program materials. The Office of Research and Graduate Education pre-award team, Paul Davis, Tony Hall, and Grace Thornton, encourage you to contact them as early as possible if you are interested in submitting. Proposal materials are due to the office by Wednesday, Oct. 21 to meet the program’s Tuesday, Nov. 3 application deadline.
