Summaries from the reconceptualizing teacher education work groups
During the spring 2020 semester, five working groups met following a college-wide Town Hall to begin discussions on reconceptualizing teacher education. These working groups included:
- Infusing diversity, equity, and inclusion across the curriculum
- Fostering pipelines for teachers, counselors, leaders, and psychologists
- Induction supports for teachers and other school personnel
- Infusing social and emotional learning and classroom guidance across the curriculum
- What does a curriculum and instruction master’s degree (online or hybrid, not large scale) look like?
Please join us for a second Town Hall meeting, where attendees will connect in breakout rooms. You may pre-register for one of the five breakout rooms online. Please consider engaging in a group that you have not previously attended.
