Spencer Foundation Conference Grant applications due Oct. 23

The Spencer Foundation Conference Grant program provides support for scholars to organize small research conferences, focused symposia, or other meetings around important issues in education.

This program is intended to bring together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and other important collaborators whose expertise, substantive knowledge and practice, theoretical insight, or methodological expertise can be engaged in ways that help build upon and advance education research. Spencer encourages applicants to think expansively about how meetings can expand the substantive work and impact of educational research on advancing racial equity. This grant program supports proposals with budgets of $50,000 or less.

Please contact Grace Thornton in the Office of Research and Graduate Education immediately if you are interested in applying for this opportunity, as the timeline to prepare the proposal for submission is short.
