Spencer Foundation Research-Practice Partnerships intent to apply due Nov. 24

  • Intent to apply deadline (required): Tuesday, Nov. 24 at noon
  • Full proposal deadline: Thursday, Dec. 17

The Spencer Foundation views partnerships as an important approach to knowledge generation and the improvement of education, broadly construed. Over the long term, the Foundation anticipates that research conducted by Research-Practice Partnerships (RPP) will result in new insights into the processes, practices, and policies that improve education for students, educators, schools, universities, families, and communities.

Spencer’s RPP grants program is intended to support education research projects that engage in collaborative and participatory partnerships with project budgets up to $400,000 and durations of up to three years. Spencer accepts intent to apply forms once a year in this program. Please review the program materials for more information.

The Office of Research and Graduate Education pre-award team looks forward to working with faculty to prepare and submit applications to this program. Please contact us before the intent to apply deadline if you are interested in moving forward. Full proposal materials are due to us for initial review on or before Friday, Dec. 4.
