Faculty Senate seeking nominations for University and College committees

The Mary Frances Early College of Education Faculty Senate is seeking nominations (self-nominations included) for open seats on the following College and University committees. Please reply to Faculty Senate president Chris Mojock no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 22 to place your name on the ballot.

University-level

  • Facilities (1 seat): Open to all faculty
  • Promotion and tenure appeals (1 seat): Must be tenured and hold the rank of professor. Members cannot serve on other promotion and tenure committees at the school, college, or university levels while serving on this committee.

College-level

  • Academic appeals (3 seats): Open to all faculty
  • Scholarship (3 seats): Open to all faculty except those in ETAP and KINS

For those interested in serving as senators, the Faculty Senate is seeking new members in the following departments:

  • CHDS
  • CIS
  • EPSY
  • LEAP
  • MSE

Please reach out to your department head if you are interested in serving in this three-year position.
