Kudos: Fisher selected as a U.S. Department of Education Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools Technical Assistance content expert
Sycarah Fisher, an assistant professor and graduate coordinator in the Department of Educational Psychology, was selected as a content expert on school-based substance use interventions for the U.S. Department of Education’s Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools Technical Assistance (REMS TA) Center.
As a content expert for the REMS TA Center, Fisher will provide content expertise for national trainings around school substance use interventions. Trainings support state departments of education and local districts across the nation.
“Being selected as a content expert on school-based substance use interventions on a national level means that the work I do can have broader reach and impact,” she said. “Being able to support states and school districts across the country in their efforts to address adolescent substance use is great!”
