College of Education's new directory is live

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Mary Frances Early College of Education personnel directory. The content on directory pages has changed very little, if at all, but you will notice significant changes to the layout and design of both the public-facing webpages and the page where you make your edits.

The new directory homepage lists individuals alphabetically by last name and has links at the top to jump you to surnames beginning with a particular letter. There is also a link to a separate page that provides links to departments, offices, and unit homepages. Your new profile page URL will follow the format: people.coe.uga.edu/your-full-name. If your old profile page URL is linked anywhere, please make sure to update those links!

  • Note: If you make any changes to your name, your profile page URL will update automatically to match your name.

Another change is that faculty and staff names, links, and headshots will no longer appear on degree pages. Instead, these pages will have a “faculty/staff” link to the faculty/staff listing of the relevant concentration page. These links will be added in the next few days. It is important to make sure your correct concentrations are listed on your profile page, so you will show up on your program’s page(s).

To make updates to your profile page, login at people.coe.uga.edu/edit using your UGA MyID and password. There, you will also find two new fields: Academic Grants and Publications. You can also upload a PDF of your CV on your own without having to submit a ticket to the College’s web team.

  • Reminder: Any edits you save will not show up on the website until shortly after the top of each hour.

The editing process should otherwise be very self-explanatory, but if you have any questions or run into any problems, don’t hesitate to submit a web request ticket.
