Faculty, please share this open house with graduate students who are currently enrolled in, or are interested in, pursuing the Graduate Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet other certificate students and ask questions about the program.
The certificate is designed for students who are interested in developing a deeper understanding of systemic oppression and its relationship to social change. The 15-hour Graduate Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion includes one core course (three hours) and four courses of electives (12 hours). Students have the flexibility to select their elective courses from either within or outside of the College, as long as the courses cover issues about race/ethnicity, social class, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, immigration, poverty, and/or other important contemporary sociocultural issues.
Learn more about the certificate on the College’s website and register in advance to attend the virtual open house.
