Kudos: Associate professor receives AERA's Outstanding Book Award
Jori Hall, an associate professor in the Department of Lifelong Education, Administration, and Policy, received the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Qualitative Research Special Interest Group’s 2021 Outstanding Book Award.
Her book, “Focus Groups: Culturally Responsive Approaches for Qualitative Inquiry and Program Evaluation,” takes an in-depth look at how culturally-responsive focus groups are developed and implemented in the context of qualitative inquiry broadly and program evaluation more specifically. Her book showcases various forms of focus groups and how they can be responsive to specific communities across different disciplines.
