The Healing Circle: Support group for Black womxn
Faculty, please share this information with your graduate students:
Shawntell Pace (M.Ed. ’19, Ph.D. ’22), a therapist at UGA’s Center for Counseling and Personal Evaluation, will be facilitating a free and virtual sacred space for Black womxn starting this March.
The Healing Circle is a space where we, as Black womxn, can explore issues such as loss, stress, depression, relationships, identities, boundaries, spirituality, and experience the process of healing together. “Womxn” is used to encompass a broader range of gender identities, challenge binary gender constructs, and reflect inclusivity for trans and nonbinary folks.
This upcoming cycle will begin mid-March. The day and time will depend on the availability of those interested. We ask all who are interested to consider making time for this 8-week commitment.
Thank you for your interest, and we are excited to join you on your healing journey. Register today!
