How do we take what we know about the reading process, reading instruction, and reading assessment to serve our students with excellence? In what ways can we incorporate findings across fields to establish effective and equitable reading and literacy instruction and opportunities for students?

The even speakers will engage in an informative and collaborative dialogue about the current state of reading policy, instruction, assessment, and ways forward for establishing high-quality reading environments for all students.

* **Mary Guay**, clinical associate professor of language and literacy education, University of Georgia
* **Courtney Hattan**, assistant professor of elementary literacy education, Illinois State University
* **Silvia Noguerón-Liu**, assistant professor of literacy studies, University of Colorado, Boulder

All registered attendees will receive a link to access the webinar prior to the event. The Zoom link to the panel will be sent to registered participants one hour prior to the event on Friday, April 30. An opportunity to submit questions during the event will be available.
