Attend a panel presentation on supporting students from diverse backgrounds

The Department of Educational Psychology’s Antiracism Coalition will host Supporting Students from Diverse Backgrounds, a panel presentation around supporting students from diverse backgrounds. The panel will feature five guests from UGA’s Office of Student Affairs and Office of Institutional Diversity. This panel presentation will highlight the ways in which the University of Georgia helps to support students from diverse backgrounds and how individual faculty, staff, and programs can support those students as well.

The panelists include Sharonda Cooper, director of multicultural, services, and programs, Division of Student Affairs; Marques Dexter, assistant director of student initiatives, Office of Institutional Diversity; Justin Jeffery, director of international student life, Division of Student Affairs; Josh Welch, director of greek life, Division of Student Affairs; and Beau Seagraves associate dean of students and director of student care and outreach, Division of Student Affairs.
