Attend Picture a Scientist: Challenges and Changes panel discussion

Picture a Scientist: Challenges and Changes panel discussion will explore the challenges faced by women in higher education and how different universities are approaching these issues, as highlighted in the “Picture a Scientist” film. The panel discussion will focus on questions submitted by the university faculty and staff, along with how other universities have created positive and inclusive climates for women.

The panelists include Tammy Allen, Distinguished Research Professor at the University of South Florida; Jeni Hart, dean of the Graduate School and vice provost for graduate studies at the University of Missouri; Theresa Rohr-Kirchgraber, associate professor of clinical medicine and pediatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine Section of Adolescent Medicine; and Julie Luft, Athletic Association Professor of Mathematics and Science Education and Distinguished Research Professor in the UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education.
