Kudos: Lewis Ellison co-authors two academic books

Tisha Lewis Ellison, an associate professor in the Department of Language and Literacy Education, recently co-authored two academic books with colleagues from the University of Georgia, the University of Kentucky, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Missouri–St. Louis. The books, listed below, will be published May and July 2021, respectively.

• “Making Sense of Literacy Scholarship Approaches to Synthesizing Literacy Research” by Catherine Compton-Lilly, Rebecca Rogers, and Tisha Lewis Ellison
• “Whitewashed Critical Perspectives: Restoring the Edge to Edgy Ideas Edited” by Catherine Compton-Lilly, Tisha Lewis Ellison, Kristen H. Perry, and Peter Smagorinsky
