Resources for student well-being
As we near the end of another tough semester and head into finals and final projects, faculty and staff are encouraged to notify students about the supportive resources available to them at UGA. Please share the following resources with students:
- If you need emotional or academic support, please contact Student Care and Outreach, Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS), or other support organizations on campus
- If you need virtual mental health resources, check out Therapy Assistance Online and a partnership with Christie Campus Health
You can reach CAPS by phone at 706-542-2273. If you would prefer to talk to a non-UGA counselor, Christie Campus Health offers a 24/7 support line at 833-910-3371.
Please encourage students to engage, get connected, and get involved by checking out the UGA Master Calendar, the UGA Involvement Network, and searching a list of things to do around Athens. For a more comprehensive listing of resources, please visit UGA’s Student Resources for Well-being or the UGA Mental Health Initiative.
Please don’t hesitate to contact Stan Jackson or Beau Seagraves if you would like to discuss partnering with UGA’s Mental Health Initiative.
