Nominations for the Dawn Bennett-Alexander Inclusive Community Award due May 17

The Dawn D. Bennett Alexander Inclusive Community Award is presented to a faculty member who has made a considerable contribution to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in and beyond the classroom at the University of Georgia.

The Mary Frances Early College of Education is allowed to submit two award dossiers. Anyone interested in putting forth a nomination packet should email associate dean Edward Delgado-Romero by 8 a.m. on Monday, May 17.

In the case of more than two nominations, dossiers will be reviewed by the cabinet during this inaugural year of the award, and in the future, will be reviewed by the College’s awards committee.
