Attend the College's welcome reception for international students
- Date: Thursday, Sept. 23
- Time: 12:30-1:30 p.m.
- Location: Aderhold Hall lawn
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’s fourth annual welcome reception for international students. Representatives from offices across campus will join to share information about UGA and community supports that are available for international students. There will be ample time for students to ask questions, get to know fellow community members, and engage with relevant resources.
This event was originally scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 16, but was moved in observance of Yom Kippur. The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion apologizes for this error in planning. We recognize Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the Jewish year, and we respect the need for Jewish faculty, staff, and students to observe this day with religious practices. For future programs, our staff will use several diversity resources to guide us in our planning.
If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
