UGA professional development classes for 2021 fall semester now available
Professional development classes for UGA faculty and staff are now available for the 2021 fall semester (Aug. 10–Dec. 17) through UGA’s Human Resources Learning & Development program.
The fall schedule includes over 100 virtual and in-person classes related to the Faculty Learning Series, the Certificate in Academic Advising, the Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion, emergency preparedness, supervisory and leadership skills, health and financial well-being, and more.
Please register for classes through the Professional Education Portal (PEP). Participants can search by course title, keyword, or subject. After registering, links and instructions for participating in classes will be emailed directly from UGA’s Training and Development at least one day before the class begins.
In addition to the fall schedule of instructor-led training, PEP also offers a catalog with hundreds of online courses. This curated catalog of professional development and learning opportunities has been aligned with the new UGA Staff Competency Model. An introductory video and additional information about the model can be found on the UGA Engage & Learn website. Learning opportunities related to specific UGA competencies can be found in PEP playlists or by searching the PEP and filtering with the subject “UGA Competency.”
For more information on finding learning opportunities related to the UGA Staff Competency Model, please view the staff competency learning guide or contact UGA’s Training and Development.
