Attend the Fall 2021 ITT Academy on Oct. 22

  • Date: Friday, Oct. 22
  • Time: Noon-1:30 p.m.
  • Location: Aderhold Hall Room 206 (Zoom link available for those who prefer to join virtually)

This interactive ITT discussion will provide a necessary space for teachers to explore varying environmental and internal conditions that may support and expand one’s repertoire as an educator. Together, we will let go of the heavyweight of our teaching spaces and draw attention to the special moments of clarity and possibility.

Amanda Ferster, a lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology, and David Chiesa, a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Language and Literacy Education, will guide participants through reflections to support one in taking instructional risks, venturing down unlikely avenues and uncharted territories with students. Participants may just walk away with a spark of hope and curiosity.

Seating will be carefully distributed around the room, and, as in all UGA spaces, masks will be highly encouraged. A Zoom link will be available for those who prefer to join virtually. Please contact Nic Holt with questions or to request a Zoom link.
