Call for nominations: President's Fulfilling the Dream Award

UGA is excited to announce that nominations for the President’s Fulfilling the Dream Award are now open. This award recognizes individuals in the University of Georgia and Athens-Clarke County communities who are working to make Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream of equality and justice a reality.

Award winners demonstrate commitment to volunteerism and civic engagement in addressing critical community issues; use King’s philosophy to reduce tensions, resolve conflict, and foster goodwill; and apply King’s teachings to build bridges of understanding and unity.

Please submit a nomination for the President’s Fulfilling the Dream Award by Friday, Oct. 15.

Recipients of the President’s Fulfilling the Dream Award will be recognized at the 19th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Breakfast on Friday, January 14, 2022.
