Indigenous Peoples' Day is on Oct. 11

Indigenous Peoples’ Day, on Monday, Oct. 11, honors and celebrates the contributions, cultures, diversity, and resilience of Native peoples throughout our country. It is also important to recognize the legacy and impact of colonialism on Indigenous communities and reflect on the past, present, and futures of those communities.
