November is National Native American Heritage Month
National Native American Heritage Month is a time to recognize the histories, cultures, and contributions of Native peoples in the United States, including Alaskan Natives and Hawaiian Natives.
This month serves as an opportunity to educate others on Native tribes, traditions, languages, and customs. It also serves as an opportunity to discuss the issues and challenges Native peoples have faced in the past and currently face in the United States.
