Recording, notes from SEL workshop now available

A recording of the “Creating a Shared Understanding of Social Emotional Learning” workshop as well as notes from the session are now available.

This workshop provided an overview of social-emotional learning (SEL) and its relevance to teaching at UGA, teacher preparation, educator leadership programs, and school districts. The workshop was offered based in response to the feedback received from the DEI and SEL survey completed at the end of the spring 2021 semester.

This workshop is the first in a series of workshops to be offered across the 2021-2022 academic year to create a better understanding of SEL, its significance to our work as faculty, staff, and students, and its relevance to DEI.
