Joan T.A. Gabel, president of the University of Minnesota, will present her address, “Fulfilling Higher Education’s Social Contract and Value Proposition” during the 31st annual Louise McBee Lecture. Gabel is the 17th president to serve at the University of Minnesota, one of the largest university systems in the U.S. Her scholarship focuses on the public higher education mission, ethical governance, and women’s leadership. Reception to follow.
