DEI Office to host informal discussion with Keith Miller

‘For Us, With Us: Healing Centered Research Partnerships by Design’

Keith Miller is an award-winning educator, artist-researcher, and village builder in the Deep South. He currently serves as deputy director of strategy and program effectiveness at Deep Center and is the founder of Healing By Any Means, a consulting company powering people, projects, and healing-centered research in service of narrative change.

Miller’s talk, “For Us, With Us: Healing Centered Research Partnerships by Design” is the first installation in the “Establishing Sustainable Community-Based Research Partnerships Speaker Series” co-sponsored by the Willson Center for Humanities & Arts and the Mary Frances Early College of Education.

The DEI Office will also host a get-together for first-generation and graduate students of color to meet with Miller for an informal discussion about research, life, and teaching. This is a great opportunity for students to build community and develop their network.
