Nominations for 2022 Engaged Scholar Award due Jan. 7

Nominations for the 2022 Engaged Scholar Award are due to the Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach by 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022.

One Engaged Scholar will be selected and receive a $5,000 faculty development grant from the Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach to sustain current engaged scholar endeavors or to develop new ones. The awardee will be recognized at UGA’s Public Service and Outreach Annual Meeting, scheduled for Honors Week in April 2022.

Permanent, full-time tenured associate or full professors are eligible for the award. Guidelines for the award are available on the UGA Public Service and Outreach website.
