2022 Faculty Interest Group for supporting students' help-seeking strategies

The purpose of this Faculty Interest Group (FIG) is to gather UGA instructors/faculty who are interested in implementing adaptive help-seeking strategies to support their students’ acquisition of knowledge through authentic learning projects.

Instructors will meet to discuss adaptive help-seeking strategies that can be integrated into coursework. Instructors will create/modify class activities that promote knowledge acquisition through authentic (real-world) activities and support students help-seeking capabilities.

The FIG will meet on the following Wednesdays from 10-11 a.m.:

  • Jan. 19
  • Feb. 16
  • March 2
  • April 6

This FIG will be facilitated by Jill Stefaniak, an associate professor in the Department of Career and Information Studies.
