  • Application deadline: Monday, Jan. 31

UGA’s Center for Teaching and Learning is pleased to announce the call for applications for the 2022 Active Learning Summer Institute. The Active Learning Summer Institute is an intensive course redesign experience aimed at increasing student engagement and success through the implementation of active learning techniques. The 2022 Institute will occur from June 13-30, 2022.

Active learning in undergraduate classrooms has been selected as the focus of the quality enhancement plan that is currently in development as part of UGA’s reaffirmation of accreditation. Additional opportunities to explore and apply active learning techniques will be announced in the coming months.

For the 2022 Institute, President Morehead has designated funding to support the participation of 24 current, full-time faculty members (tenure track or non-tenure track) who will teach their redesigned course during the 2022-2023 academic year. Faculty selected for the institute will receive $7,500.
